About my work
I am a skilled heritage professional with extensive experience in project management, heritage interpretation and policy. I am particularly interested in historic buildings, landscapes and archives. I am also a successful historical researcher and writer.
I have a post-graduate diploma in Interpretation, Representation and Heritage from the University of Leicester, the APM Project Management Qualification and the Certificate in Understanding Building Conservation from the Chartered Institute of Building.

I have been developing and managing cultural heritage and historic environment projects for over 15 years. I was director of the team that produced the Oldway Mansion masterplan, which was shortlisted for the Michelmores Property Awards 2024 in the category of Masterplanning for the Future. My work on the Torbay Heritage Strategy was awarded Highly Commended in the Royal Town Planning Institute's 2021 South West Awards for Planning Excellence.

I am a member of the Association for Heritage Interpretation and I am the Chair of Devon History Society.
