As a freelance project officer for the Foundation for Jewish Heritage, I managed a project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Architectural Heritage Fund and the Pilgrim Trust to plan the conservation and sustainable reuse of the listed Arts & Crafts Synagogue at Middle St in Brighton. It is believed to be one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe, with its sumptuous decoration supported by prominent British Jewish families including the Sassoons and the Rothschilds.
